Kindle Wireless Reading Device (6? Display, Global Wireless, Latest Generation)

The latest edition of Amazon’s Kindle is a money saver, good for the environment and convenient or so say some who have bought this slim little literary gem. It’s as thin as most magazines and weighs in at 10.2 ounces. Books are delivered to your new Kindle in less than 60 seconds. That’s fast.

You can download books, magazines, newspapers and blogs from anywhere. There’s no need to hunt for Wi-Fi hotspots and don’t have to pay for monthly fees or annual contracts. The coverage map now identifies over 100 countries where Kindle can be used to download your favorites.

Your new Kindle can hold 1500 books. That’s great when the Kindle library now offers over 400,000 different titles.

If you reminisce about when you were a child and your mother read you bedtimes stories, you can have the Kindle read to you, just like Mom. Or if you would rather have your father read to you, switch on the male voice. If you’d prefer pretending this is a boyfriend, girlfriend etc, reading to you, go ahead. You can even change the speed of the voices to your liking. Currently, this feature only works in English. I can’t wait until they add desired accents to this feature.

Over all, most people who purchase the Kindle 2 who also own the Kindle 1, are happier with their new purchase.
